I’ve been reading Frank Quitely’s Morrison stuff, over and over. I love his weird faces. They’re so squished and weird, but sexy. Are they sorta asian looking? Or kind of waspy, in this round, goofy way — like Edwardian/Victorian type illustrations? I can’t decide. Everyone looks a little bit like a gnome.
Also, some of Marvel’s Supervillian Team-Up Collection each night. Dr. Doom makes Reed Richards seem so boring. Dr. Doom wants to accomplish heroic, hateful things. Richards just wants to make everything nice and fix stuff with his stupid rayguns, make everything the same again, over and over. He’s such a drag.
