For your reading pleasure, a gem passed on by Marv Newland, via Robin McConnell: A 1981 article from Vancouver magazine by Les Wiseman. It’s a good look at the period when the “underground” scene was shifting into “independent,” and features such major Canadian cartooning figures as George Metzger, Rand Homes, and David Boswell.     Someone get the webdesigner to make this usable. There’s a wordpress plugin called Lightbox 2 it will make this a nice clickable gallery. The other thing that helps is changing the setting for your gallery to “link to file”, so at least we don’t get that intermediary page.
