Yep, that is a painting. There are more like that in the book. Tim very nicely mentioned it here.
Oops, and I also meant to say — I’m proud of this book. There are two wonderful essays on Rory and a rare (and unpublished) interview as well. The work, of course, is great, but there’s plenty of other goodies that not even the most die-hard Rory fan has seen. Well, I think Kim Deitch has seen it all. But that’s only one guy. As for the rest of you: The rest of you must buy or die.
