I dunno. But I have a couple Nels Cline records and they ain’t so bad.
I just checked Cline’s Website, and he seems to recommend the album:
“The third CD and the third permutation (Bendian, Alex Cline, Joel Hamilton, me) a concept album with 78 minutes of music dedicated to the influential-yet-almost-ignored Marvel cartoonist/visionary so beloved by Gregg. The CD art featuring full color Kirby and endless liner notes alone are worth it!”

It’s good if you like fairly noisy avant-gard music (Sonny Sharrock, Henry Threadgill, Blind Idiot God are good comparisons). The song titles are great, and if you get in the right frame of mind, you can kind of see where the musicians are coming from with the Kirby connection.
